Every one of you is unique, special and equally important.
And in this I give advice: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago;but now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have.
For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened; but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality. As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.— 2 Corin 8:10-15
This spoke right through me..something that I have been trying to describe and God has the perfect truth to express what He’s been writting in my heart..
This is so true :)
Oh the passion, the drive..to desire for something..is a God-given fuel to accomplish what we have been entasked with.. whether is it a task at work, a project in school, a dream, a vision, a ministry, a calling..the Lord will write His desires on your heart and provide for you the willingness and the ability to do it :)
The Lord will give you the desire to pursue and to keep clinging onto Him till His dream blossoms on your life :) It’s His dream to see yours come true because it’s His masterplan after all.
The readiness to desire it = claim it as rightfully yours! your blood-bought inheritance! your blood-bought future and dreams! POSSESS the dream which God has given to you, POSSESS the promises and talents He has bestowed freely upon you.
And our differences is a trade of equality..so we don’t have to compete or to compare..God has wired us differently so that we learn to share and connect with others through our giving..and to give is express our love :) This is how a body functions, the members rely on another to move effectively in unity. And through our individual sacrifices, we learn to appreciate one another more and develope a deeper relationship with one another. By learning to accept each other’s strength, we learn to humble ourselves in our weaknesses. We are able to apply God’s unconditional love and grace. We become aware of each other’s beauty and strength, and help to sharpen each other’s weaknesses. That’s family, that’s fellowship, that’s church.
As Jesus says, there’s no greater love than for a man to lay down his life for his own man.
from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. — Eph 4:16
