  1. As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.

  2. Just as much as Father knows us, He wants us to begin to know Him, to become familiar (biyn) with all His ways. Father desires intimacy with His children. He sees us for who we really are, yet He loves us. He wants us to see Him for who He really is, and to allow Him to father us perfectly. Jesus and the Father shared in this type of intimacy. In John 17:10, Jesus prayed these words to His Father, All I have is yours and all you have is mine. Theirs was an interaction of hearts that was completely given to each other without reserve.

  3. How you think about yourself is very important

    As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he — Provb 23:7

    How you think about yourself, your life, has an influence in what you say about yourself and others. The words that escape from your lips, are drawn from your heart, which are based on what you think about yourself.

    For out of the overflow of the heart a man speaks — Luke 6:45

    What we think about ourselves is important because it will determine the kind of words we choose to speak for ourselves. The words we choose is equally important because it is a matter of life or death, encouragement or condemnation, a curse or a blessing.

    A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit. — Proverbs 15:4

    Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. — Proverbs 18:21

    We may lament over our situation, but be as quick to speak God’s blessings and grace over your life too. Pray in tongues for yourself. Edify yourself. Comfort yourself with His life-giving words. Let your heart be restored at the sound of God’s Word. His Word is health and restoration for  your flesh. Let your soul be refreshed with the sound of His voice again and your mind renewed from every negativity.

    So start thinking better of yourself. See yourself as blessed and beloved, regardless of whatever your situations may be. That’s how God sees you too even in your troubles because He forknew His plans for you. If He had delivered you once from the jaws of death, He can deliver you from any situation. There’s no situation that can be as impossible as death and Jesus had already conquered that. You have passed the test of death, so there’s no lesser tribulations than death that you cannot overcome through Jesus’s life operating in you.
    Think of your situation as saturated by God’s peace and favor; He is in perfect control over your life. Then let that peace tranquilize your heart. His favor as the bridge over stormy waters. There’s no mission impossible that God cannot fulfil.
    Start thinking better of your circumstance, yourself and your entire destiny. It’s going to be awe-inspiring, it’s all been intrinsically well-thought of by God, signed and sealed with His own blood. Let it be, in Jesus’s name, amen :)

    How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! — Psalm 139:7

  4. Beloved, you have been given a fearless heart. The heart of a Lion, the Lion of Judah. You have the heart of Jesus that has been perfected by the Father’s Love.

  5. Relax!

    A sound heart is life to the body…
    Proverbs 14:30

    What is a “sound heart” that is life to the body?

    In today’s verse, the word “sound” is the Hebrew word marpe, which is from the Hebrew word, rapha, meaning “heal.” Going just a bit deeper, you’ll find that the root word of rapha is the Hebrew word for “relax.”

    Put it all together and what you’ll see is that a relaxed heart gives healing or health to our bodies. That’s why The Living Bible translates the verse as, “A relaxed attitude lengthens a man’s life.”

    My friend, God wants you to have a heart that is at peace, and a relaxed attitude about the issues of life, so that you can walk in health. It’s no wonder Jesus said, “…do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on…” (Matthew 6:25). In that sermon, you will hear the constant refrain, “Do not worry”—because you have a loving heavenly Father who provides for you.

    Today, choose to stop worrying about your health, finances, family, career or whatever is troubling you. Do what needs to be done but entrust the matter to God and trust Him to guide you (Proverbs 3:6). Cast every care upon Him, knowing that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Beloved, make a decision today not to let your heart be agitated or disturbed, and step into a greater measure of health and wholeness for yourself!

    Blessings,
    Joseph Prince

  6. Keep the eyes of your hearts on your heavenly reality, and allow Christ to shine the light of His love in and through you.
    —

    Mick Mooney, The Gospel Cannot Be Chained

    Heart Transformation begins not by striving with our self-efforts to change ourselves, but it begins when we allow our hearts to behold Christ.

  7. The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord;
    And in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
    You have given him his heart’s desire,
    And have not withheld the request of his lips.

    — Psalm 21:1-2

    Your strength, God, is the king’s strength.
        Helped, he’s hollering Hosannas.
    You gave him exactly what he wanted;
        you didn’t hold back.
    You filled his arms with gifts;
        you gave him a right royal welcome.
    He wanted a good life; you gave it to him,
        and then made it a long life as a bonus.
    You lifted him high and bright as a cumulus cloud,
        then dressed him in rainbow colors.
    You pile blessings on him;
        you make him glad when you smile.
    Is it any wonder the king loves God?
        that he’s sticking with the Best?

    Psalm 21:1-7 MSG

  9. Beloved, this is what your God is saying to you today:

    My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place.
    For I have chosen this Temple (you) and set it apart to be holy—a place where My name will be honored forever. I will always watch over it, for it is dear to My heart.

    — 2 Chronicles 7:15-16 (NLT)

    You are so dear to God’s heart beloved, His eyes, ears and heart are open to your every prayers. He is constantly watching over you and perpetually taking care of you :) Ask, Seek and you shall Find; believe that you have received :)

  11. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

    Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God

  12. Our imagination is a powerful tool because the love of God can flow through our imagination
    This I believe is truth because our imagination (the eyes of our heart) can help us to visualize God’s love, presence, provision and protection. God sows His revelation into our hearts by shining His perfect glory to our hearts and then the reflection of His glory illuminates the spiritual eyes in our hearts - causing us to see visions and dreams.
    We have Spiritual eyes you know. You just needa learn to use them. You are not just a human anymore, you are a Spirit-being and in the Spirit wink Your heart has a 6th sense to perceive the spiritual and discern from the carnal reality.

  13. Father strengthen my heart with Your Grace. Let my heart wait on you by being humbled by Your all-sufficient Grace and overwhelming goodness.

    2 Timothy 2:1 [ Be Strong in Grace ] You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

    1 Peter 5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time

    Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD

  14. Expectation vs Reality..

    Both realms can be at war with each other at times..a typified scenario can be seen in the movie ‘500 days of summer’ oh I can relate how the protagonist’s heart went through the shredder when Reality collided with his Expectation instead of converging. Ouch.

    Relationships are like the consolidation of these two conflicting realms.

    Double ouch.

    I have had my double portion.

    So what happens when it happens? Give those shred pieces of your heart to the Lord and let Him fix it for you. Trying to pick up those pieces with your own hands can only hurt you even more. Only God can renew and strengthen your heart because He was the One who created it, surely He knows best how to fix it.

    Pardon me if I sound too theoretical on a Sunday.. much of the discourse is attributed to the chunks of theories I have been studying over the week.. and I just need a vent.

  15. It’s only when you see yourself justified, precious and loved in His sight, only then you can receive the guidance of God in your heart
    — Joseph Prince, with reference to the breastplate of precious stones of the High Priest garment.

    The Peace of God comes with understanding because He is the God of Peace and not confusion. Hence by allow His Peace to guard our hearts, we are actually receiving His precious wisdom of guidance. In other words, all of us are capable and entitled to hear God for ourselves, don’t let anyone or any of your mistakes persuade you otherwise. No one and nothing can disqualify you from hearing the voice of God. You are His fluffy precious sheep, and His sheeps hears His voice Shepherd. No one can separate you from His Love, you can always hear His voice because God just long to communicate with you, His precious child. He long to give you the guidance back home and the way out of your wilderness. He will guide you personally because He is your good and faithful Father and you are His beloved child.
