We behave less defensive towards people, when we are secure of our righteousness of Christ. Knowing how blameless we are in God’s eyes, we would remain at peace even when dealing with criticisms, especially when we make mistakes, we still have Jesus to refer to, as our identity and true nature.
You are fortified in Christ, Jesus is your Rock and Defender. He makes all things beautiful and that includes you :)

My room is bathed in the rays of a setting sun…been uploading new and old pics of myself..never used to show much pics of myself, cause I didnt like the way I look..and I think its about time that changes.

Those who are righteous…do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.
We don’t have to be perfect for Jesus, because He perfects us.
Self-pity is the wrong belief about yourself and about how God sees you. If you have believed rightly, about how God truly sees you, none of this self-pity would apply. If you see how God elevates you in His sight, there will be no room for self-pity on your self-image.
Self-pity is all about self-condemnation that makes you feel bad about yourself, throws the blame on yourself, on others, and makes you doubt about God’s Love.
While the Gospel is all about God loving you, which makes you feel good and confident about yourself, and your focus is no longer on yourself alone but also on other people.
When what is in your mind is radically different from what is on God’s mind; that is the definition of depression, psychological disintegration, unhappiness and loss of assurance.
But when what is in your mind is the same with what is on God’s mind; there is peace, joy, confidence, sanity, freedom, victory over the condemnation and lies of the devil.
So how do we get our minds renewed? It’s simple, keep believing in the Gospel!
Joshua 1:5

Lean on,
trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind
