  2. The devil’s temptations cannot succeed, if you know that you are God’s beloved
    — Joseph Prince (paraphrase), The Overpowering Power of God’s Love

We give in to temptation, when we give in to condemnation, self-pity, unworthiness..etc. Temptations are meant to lead us astray from knowing how much we are loved by God.

  3. The devil’s tactic is to destroy that sense of ‘belovedness’ in you, the sense of feeling God loves us. The devil uses religious teachers to bring condemnation, he uses the law, accusations, he brings up the past - as long as he makes you feel that God rejects, he got you where he wants you to be.

  4. The blood of the Lamb has overcome the deception of condemnation!

Halleluyah! We no longer have to bear the charges of condemnation and guilt! We are free, every accusation has been disarmed!
Remember beloveds, God does not accuse us of anything, in His eyes we are perfect. And even the accuser of the brethen had been defeated! You are free to live and enjoy!

  5. The blood of the Lamb is for the forgiveness of all our sins. We therefore say that knowing the power of the Blood, stops and takes away the power of satan’s deception and condemnation in our lives. Whenever he accuses us of our sin, we remind him of the Blood that was shed for the forgiveness and remission of all our sin.
    —

Paul Hernandez, The New Covenant in a Nutshell, Living Grace

There is power in the blood!! Halleluyah!

  6. The need to earn something from God is self-condemnation (the ministry of the law is the ministry of condemnation) but His own Word says, there is no condemnation in Christ! Either you are condemning yourself as not good enough to accept His Finished Work, or you are condemning His Finished Work.

  7. Whatever regulation that we enforce upon ourselves, is the same thing that we are condemning ourselves of.
Eg. we are enforce rules of certain behaviors, we are actually condemning our own behaviors.

Condemnation is dangerous, condemnation has no limitation to is demands, that’s why it kills your self-esteem, your self-righteousness. The Law is meant to lead you to the end of your-self, where you will eventually realize your unreserved need for God; no matter how hard you try, you just can’t get through it, you need something more powerful, you need something that is beyond your ability, what you really needed was and is God.
So instead of enforcing high demands and expectations on yourself, replace it with God’s Grace and wisdom, let Jesus (Truth & Grace), be the One to empower you. Our new nature in Christ no longer requires the fashioning of the Old Covenant of regulations and demands, we have been depleted of the old nature, hence, we now longer have to be led by the old discipline of legalism. Jesus abolished the old discipline, by fulfilling all of it on our behalf. He took our place, and today we take His place.

Jesus is our new discipline; He is also our obedience, and also our King. Jesus leads us under the fashion of the New Covenant; which is by grace and supply; He leads us by giving to us what we need in order to function, instead of demanding from us to function for what we need.

Let the Spirit of Liberty to guide you, receive from Him what you need, let Him perform in you and through you.

  8. Self-pity is all about self-condemnation that makes you feel bad about yourself, throws the blame on yourself, on others, and makes you doubt about God’s Love.
While the Gospel is all about God loving you, which makes you feel good and confident about yourself, and your focus is no longer on yourself alone but also on other people.

  9. When what is in your mind is radically different from what is on God’s mind; that is the definition of depression, psychological disintegration, unhappiness and loss of assurance.
But when what is in your mind is the same with what is on God’s mind; there is peace, joy, confidence, sanity, freedom, victory over the condemnation and lies of the devil.
So how do we get our minds renewed? It’s simple, keep believing in the Gospel!

  10. What the Law says & What Grace says - by Rob Rufus

    Sermon: http://vimeo.com/61393205

    • The Law demands absolute perfect standard of God’s righteousness from you.
    • Grace gives you God’s free gift of righteousness freely.

    • The Law says, “Do, do, do.”
    • Grace says, “It’s done, it’s done, it’s finished at the cross”

    • The Law makes you conscious of sin.
    • Grace makes you conscious of being the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

    • The Law always condemns you.Grace never condemns you.
    • Grace lifts you into the cloud of his presence. Grace puts you in the arms of Jesus even when you have sinned.

    • The law took the disobedience of first Adam and condemned us all.
    • Grace took the obedience of Jesus and declared you to be perfectly righteous in the Father’s eyes.

    • Under the law, God says, “I will by no means forget your sins.”
    • Under grace, God says, “I will by no means ever remember all of your sins ever again, past, present, and future.”

    • The Law is a revelation of how much is wrong with you.
    • Grace is a revelation of how perfectly right you are with God.

    • Under law, sin abounded.
    • But under grace, grace super-excessively-far more abounded.

    • The law makes you self-conscious.
    • Grace makes you Christ-conscious.
    • The law makes you ask, “What must I do? What must I do? What must I do ?
    • Grace declares with Christ has already done with you.

    • The Law is a heavy burden with a difficult yoke.
    • Grace is not a burden with a yoke that is easy.

    • The Law is the ministry of death.
    • Grace is the ministry of life.

    • The Law demands from you.
    • Grace gives to you the supply of the Spirit.

    • The Law demands, you earn the blessing.
    • Grace says Jesus has already earned the blessing.

    • The Law relies on you
    • Grace relies on Jesus

    • You will always fail the Law.
    • But Grace will always succeed for you.

    • The Law justifies no one. The Law condemns the best of us.
    • Grace justifies all of us and approves the worst of us.

  11. We cease expectancy when we accept condemnation. Condemnation kills expectation. God doesn’t want us to stop hoping for good things to happen to us, because He is WILLING to give to us, on Jesus’s account, on the account of His Son’s sacrifice, on the account of His unmerited favor.
Accept the unmerited favor of God today, reject every condemnation that comes against you, and start expecting God’s Grace to turn things around for you!

  12. The gift of righteousness is the gift of no-condemnation and a guilt-free life.

  13. Beloved, your work/hopes/dreams/desires/needs/ambitions/destiny/calling has already been fulfilled in Christ. You are a Finished Work. Your new nature and new being is the result of Jesus’s Finished Work. You have been given a brand new heart, the heart of a Lion, the heart of Jesus; where your new life as God’s Beloved flows from. Our minds just need grace and time to adapt to this new reality. But remember, you are a Finished Work, a flawless and well-polished diamond in Christ because Christ is in you.

The Love of God covers a multiude of sins and imperfections, the blood of Jesus over your life covers a multiude of mistakes and regrets, the Grace of God is an all-consuming fire that is eternally burning in you, burning every scrap of condemnation, every spat of accusation against you is consumed by God’s unconditional Love. God is for you beloved; no one can successfully stand against you and no one can sabotage the promising future you have in Christ, not even yourself. As long as your resting place is in His Grace regardless of the circumstances and your heart is abiding in the position of His Love-provision, you can rest assured that your life will be maximized by His favor and goodness. Rest and Receive!

  14. Beloved, heed not the voice of condemnation, instead give heed to the testament of His Grace. Let every condemning accusations be drowned in the flood of His Grace, that the roar of Christ’s righteousness echos infinitely in your soul.

  15. My brothers and sisters, it is the reality of God’s Grace that keeps is in this place of confidence, so don’t fall back into believing Grace is not enough; for it is when we try to earn our right-standing that we fall into all kinds of fear, weakness and unnecessary self-condemnation.
Remain in the truth of His Grace my friends, and enjoy the confidence that comes from being wrapped in His unfailing love.
