If a man sees God’s heart as hard/judgemental/stingy, his own heart will be just as hard too - thus becoming more self-conscious of their lacks rather than on God’s abundant supply.
How we see God affects the way we receive from Him. If we know that God is FOR us and not against us, how much more we will choose to RECEIVE from our all-sufficent and self-giving God ?
