To forgive someone seventy-seven times, does that mean you should be able to trust that person again seventy-seven times?
My first answer was ‘No’… then I think again..if you really love that person then ‘Yes’ should be the answer because ‘Love keeps no record of wrong’ so if to have forgiven someone, means to have overlooked the past mistakes too.. so you trusting that person would be motivated by your love for that person too as Faith worketh by Love.
It’s never easy… but God makes all things possible by His Grace :)
When we give Grace to one another, we allow God’s Spirit to work things out for both parties instead of allowing bitterness and hatred (which is our flesh) torment the both of us. The flesh profits nothing and only the Spirit can transform us from glory to glory.
As we sow Grace into the ground of our relationships, we will reap the fruits of Grace too and those are everlasting fruits of the Spirit :)
